As the Belvidere Lions Club prepares to celebrate its 75th Anniversary of service to the community, the Belvidere Park District and the Rockford Noon Lions Club have agreed to partner with us to build an accessible, ADA-compliant, all-inclusive playground and ball diamond complex specifically designed to remove physical and social barriers. There are an estimated 2,500 students within the Boone County school districts that have a disability and we are excited to give them a place where they can improve their physical, cognitive and social skills side-by-side with their non-disabled playmates in an inclusive environment.
