Become A Leo
Leo clubs prepare young people for a lifetime of leadership and provide them with an opportunity for development and contribution. Leo will get direction, learn valuable leadership skills and experience team work first hand. They will acquire and develop so many positive character traits, all while helping the less fortunate and strengthening our community.

ABOUT US
WE SERVE..
Belvidere Lions Club was organized March 21,1939 with 26 members. Because most of the club members answered their call to duty, the club was disbanded in 1944 and reorganized in 1946 with 65 members.
We enjoy being active and serving our community. We take great pride in our motto “We Serve”, where there is a need, there is a Lion-in our own communities and around the world-with unmatched integrity and energy.
The Belvidere Lions Club is looking for new Leo’s. Leo Clubs are similar to a Lions Club in structure in that it is driven by community service. The difference is that it is operated entirely by student members. Leo Clubs are strictly for students between the ages of 12 and 18.
In addition to serving locally, Lions and Leos support five global service areas: vision, hunger, the environment, pediatric cancer and diabetes.
We have several fundraisers and exposure events throughout the year and the money raised is used for local, state and international needs.
If you are interested in joining, contact us or come to a meeting on the 4th Tuesday of the month at the VFW.
